| Description: | This code is similar to the sort array script which sorts an array alphabetical, however it also sorts arrays based on numberical ordering, for example: dim numbers(4) numbers(0) = "121" numbers(1) = "22" numbers(3) = 3.141 numbers(4) = 99 sorting the array alphabetically would give you this order: 121 22 3.141 99 sorting the list numerically will give you this order: 3.141 22 99 121 |
| Instructions: | to use this script do something like the following: dim numbers(4) numbers(0) = "121" numbers(1) = "22" numbers(3) = 3.141 numbers(4) = 99 numbers = sortNumericalArray(numbers) this will then swap the values of the array to the following: numbers(0) = 3.141 numbers(1) = "22" numbers(3) = "99" numbers(4) = 121 note, the type of the array is preserved, so it is better not to mix integers and strings in the array. |
