| Description: | This code will enable you to send an email from your asp.net page. Note you need to edit the web.config file to set the smtp server information. The code below shows the settings for the web.config file and the .net page. |
| Instructions: | edit the web.config file with the additions shown above, replacing the network properties of the SMTP server with that of your own server. Call the function SendEmail either in response to a button click or as a separate class that can be invoked with parameters to fill in the subject, body, to and from address of the email. If you are using it as a standalone class, then you will need to modify the function declaration line of the code. |
