Today, I'm now ranked #1 for the phrase 'Lincolnshire SEO' in google!!  - IN YOUR FACE Koss and ArtsGraphica!! - it's taken about 4 months to get there, not because of the high number of results, but because the sites that were at the top of the rankings were very well established domains, and had quite a good backlink profile. Sometimes, even for low competition phrases, if you have firmly embedded sits at the top, it can be quite tricky to usurp them.

Now comes the next phase of the strategy. Having established this site at position 1 in google for the phrases Cleethorpes SEO, Grimsby SEO and the more general Lincolnshire SEO, its time to start looking at shifting the focus to a more generic, high competition, high throughput phrase. I've not decided on what that should be yet. I don't want to just straight in and try to work on UK SEO (that would require shedloads of resources to achieve) but I want something more generic than lincolnshire SEO. Time to put the thinking cap on....
