RDFa markup in Google
I've been reading up about RDFa - "Resource Description Framework in attributes". RDFa is a type of metadata markup that can be used to provide rich information about web page content. An example of which is to pick out book titles from a page of html, and associate information relating to author, year of publishing etc. Google is currently experimenting with using RDFa to integrate into their search results.
I'll return to this topic later when I have gathered more information about how and when google will start integrating RDFa into the standard search results. My expectation is that RDFa might not have sufficient support to take off properly, it will all depend on whether RDFa will be supported in the major development environments.
