Following this, I did a quick google search on the IP address and came across a site called Project Honey Pot. The site is run by 'a growing army of web volunteers' who install a simple bit of code on their website which automatically detects spammer activity and reports this back to the website.
The page for the above ip addres is here. and lists information like this:
