Chaos the Battle of Wizards for Android

You can now play Chaos the Battle of Wizards on your Android phone. This is a very true-to-the-original version of the Jullian Gollop classic speccy game. There are a couple of slight differences with this one - there is an 'old bugs' option - which presumably crashes the app when you try to do a turmoil spell :) and makes the wizard undead if his mount is raised from the dead  - And there is a 'new features' option - not sure exactly what this does, but it does add a 'meditate' spell which when cast gives you an extra random spell - a bit like a magic tree but you don't have to wait up to 5 turns to get the new spell - which makes magic trees a bit redundant - I would like to see the meditate spell have only a 10% chance of success to balence the game out a bit.

The sound effects seem a bit low quality - it sounds like they have been sampled poorly, and there are intermittent crashes on my HTC Desire, but these are far less frequent after the recent 1.10 update.

All in all, its a very good conversion, and something that you can play for hours on end on your own or with up to 8 friends. I'm going to abandon my version of Chaos for the Android as there is still quite a bit of work to do on it, and it would end up being very similar to the android version by Richard Quirk, except with the addition of a multiplay via bluetooth and game server options.

There is also a version of Chaos the Battle of Wizards available for the Nintendo DS by the same developer which you can download for free.

Now if we can just get a tablet version of lords of chaos-  that would be good...
