Internet Explorer 9 is the most popular beta sofware ever with over 40 million downloads so far ( 1 of which was me ). The Microsoft News Centre has officially announced the launch of IE9 a few hours ago (the official release date was March 14 9pm EST which was about 5am today GMT). Among the new features are Jumplists and Pinned sites, which effectively let you drag a tab onto your taskbar, and then you can use it as if it were an inbuilt app. MS has created http://www.beautyoftheweb.com/ to showcase some of the new features of IE9.
