Internet Explorer 9 was launched just a few hours ago, but there are already rumours circulating around the possibility of an announcement about Internet Explorer 10 at the MIX 11 event on 12th April. Dean Hachamovitch, head of the IE9 development team will be a keynote speaker at MIX11 in Las Vegas. In the Exploring IE blog, Hachamovitch hinted that "we still have a few surprises left. There are a lot of new amazing things to share, and we want you to join us".

Some have speculated that this is a veiled admission that this event will be used to announce details of the Internet Explorer 10 browser. If you can't make it to Las Vegas, you will be able to view a webcast on the MIX site.
