Amazon Tablet Device
Amazon looks to be joining the ranks of Samsung, Motorola and Google in the fight for the iPad alternative market share. The Amazon Kindle has been a runaway success by all measures and according to a report of Digitimes, Amazon have placed a large order for tablet PCs with Quanta. Quanta also supply hardware for RIM and Sony.
Meanwhile, there are rumours of a Google Tablet, following on from the Nexus One and Nexus S devices. According to T3, the Google Nexus Tablet will run on LG hardware and will run on Android 3.0 (codenamed Honeycomb) .
If you're thinking of getting an iPad, I would suggest waiting a couple of months to see what Amazon and Google have up their sleeves.
