Essentially, the 5 top tips are:

1. make the site easy to navigate

2. make the products easy to find

3. respond to customer queries quickly and effectively

4. include product reviews

5. use social media

Hardly rocket science really. There are more ways to improve ecommerce conversion rates on a new article that I've just put online.It says 100 top tips at the top, but I'm still compiling the list, so we're not quite at 100 yet.
